This section contains details of what information we collect from you, what we do with it and who it might be shared with.
If you receive a service from us we will ask for your contact details.
When someone visits www.barlinnievisitorscentre.org we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this.
We want to be able to contact you when making referrals so that other agencies can get in touch with you or if there is a change to an appointment we can let you know.
We usually share your information when making a referral to another specialist agency. We aim to only share your information with your permission, however, we may need to share something you’ve told us if we think there could be a Child Protection issue.
Email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will check what information we have about you. It is helpful if you can indicate the date/s that you spoke with us. We aim to get back to people within 10 working days.
