Mobile phones for prisoners
SPS are introducing a mobile telephony solution into prisons which will mean every prisoner will have access to a mobile telephone to enhance contact with family and friends during COVID-19 restrictions.

The Croft’s adapted service
The Croft is currently working remotely as face-to-face contact at HMP Barlinnie is suspended with COVID-19 restrictions. If you have any questions or want to speak to someone about having a loved one in prison, you can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07484 664 950. We will be checking messages 7 days per week from 10.30am-6.30pm.

The Scottish Prison Service has a helpline available Monday – Friday 9am-3pm 0131 330 3888. They can give you information about general procedures, but cannot give out information about individual people in prison. SPS have also set up an Information Hub on their website.
